Josh Caplinger
Lead Pastor
Pastor Josh started serving at Restoration Church in October 2023. He graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a degree in Christian Education. He loves playing or watching sports, the outdoors, coffee and Milo's sweet tea. He enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer and their 5 children. He is proud to share that while at Olivet he was the backup kicker on the football team. When asked about it, he said, "It was the best job he ever had." He was also the school mascot. He is passionate about seeing others embrace a relationship with God. He loves when opportunities present themselves to be the hands and feet of Jesus and serve others. His greatest "pay day" is seeing and hearing about God's work in other people's lives.

Mark Thompson
Family Ministries Pastor
Pastor Mark Thompson has served as an associate pastor at Restoration since January of 2006. Mark holds a bachelor's degree in religion from Trevecca Nazarene University and earned a Masters of Arts in Youth Ministry degree from Wesley Seminary. Mark enjoys watching and playing sports, playing music, vanilla ice cream, and being with his wife, Allyson and his sons, Asher and Levi.

Jodie George
Children's Ministries Pastor
Jodie has served at Restoration since September of 2026. She has previously served as children's pastor, youth pastor, and senior pastor throughout her many years of ministry experience. She loves to attend extracurricular activities of students, radiates joy, and has a passion for fellowship. Her favorite bible verse is Ephesians 4:2-3 2 "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. 3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace". We are blessed to have Pastor Jodie as a member of our team.

Melissa McDowell
Connections Pastor
Pastor Melissa joins Restoration as Connections Pastor after moving to the area from Sikeston, Missouri in 2026. Her mother, Mary, and 2 dogs moved with her to be closer to family. As a lifelong Nazarene, Melissa has served in numerous lay and clergy positions within the local church both before and after her ordination in 2022. She enjoys a variety of crafts, photography, and indoor activities. Pastor Melissa was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 8-years-old and is well acquainted with life challenges. Thus, one of her favorite verses is Genesis 50:20. Joseph shares with his brothers how God used their poor decisions and other unfair events to bring about good things. God has often shown the same in her life. Among her ministry's many highlights, Melissa's greatest was seeing her father's (2025) and uncle's (2020) relationship with God rekindled before their passings. We are blessed to have her as a member of our team and for the many ways she is able to connect with all ages. On most Sunday's, you can see her giving a warm welcome or greeting.

Mark Blake
Discipleship Pastor
Pastor Mark received his local minister's license in 2024. He is passionate about discipling others and seeing their relationship with Jesus come to life. He is constantly on the go, whether in meeting with others, ministering to recovery groups, small groups, and/or nursing homes. He is also an avid prayer warrior. There is no doubt that God has called Mark to serve and we are excited to see Pastor Mark continue to step into that calling. For fun he loves spending time with others sharing the word. He often gets off work, eats dinner and heads out to minister in some way. He also loves spending time with his family and grandchildren. His favorite passage of scripture is "Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path". Psalm 119:105
a light on my path". Psalm 119:105
